The learning experience in the Ed Tech/ADL (Educational Technology/Adult Learning) curriculum can be significantly affected by the COVA (Choice, Ownership, Voice and Authenticity) learning style.
The COVA model allows students the opportunity to decide what to learn. This implies that students could choose, according to their personal interests, the most accessible learning methods. Being able to choose on my own motivates me because I can focus on things that I find interesting and beneficial to me. COVA also encourages students to be responsible for their educational/academic experience. This gives me a sense of responsibility for my education, which is important learning in a career.
