My Authentic Innovation Plan

          In this course, I identified technological innovations that both my school and my district could adopt to create a STEM implementation plan using makerspace in elementary schools. I developed a proposal and implementation outline detailing this plan and conducted a review of the literature supporting this project. Finally, I integrated and connected all these pieces into a coherent plan using what I learned about learning, technology, and communication in the course readings and videos which were of great help in their development.

          This course was one of great challenge, but at the same time of growth. He encouraged me to change my fixed mindset into a growth mindset. This course is of utmost importance since it is the basis for all the other courses that I will take as I move towards completing my master's degree in ADL. It is the beginning of how I will carry my thoughts, ideas, learning and how I will create and implement my project. By continuing to explore innovative educational technologies, I hope to encourage more people in both the school and school district to fully embrace the growth mindset and together create a nurturing environment for students.
