The authors of the book The 4 Disciplines of Execution have found 4 disciplines that, when put into practice, help you execute a plan, no matter how difficult it may seem.
1- Focus on your W.I.G.
Focusing on the most important ideas helps everything flow and stay under control.
2- Measure Lead Behaviors
We have to be patient during jag time if we want to see results. Stay focused and not give up since many times the results take time. We must measure our effort to know where we are going.
3- Put Up to Scoreboard
Knowing the results helps us stay focused and work hard to achieve the goal.
4- Schedule Weekly Accountability Talks
We must stay in communication with our work group. It helps us stay connected and gives us the strength and direction necessary for our path.
Putting these four disciplines into practice will help us stay focused on our goals, giving the necessary importance to each one, without losing sight of our north.
